Call Types

EMS Type - Ambulance, Mutual aid Ambulance, Mutual Aid Stand-By Ambulance.       

An Ambulance rolls on almost every call type, these are not recorded as EMS Type.

Fire Type - Are all the rest. Service Calls covers traffic control, trees down, power lines down, odor investigation and other unique calls.

We are required to submit call information to New York State for Data Collection, using BFIR - Basic fire Incident Reports. These categories are what we are allowed to use. This data collection also helps us when we apply for grants.
